This is the demo of the Peacock Tail Tumblr theme, by Richard Dunlop-Walters. It’s named after the Boards of Canada track of the same name. (I am the guy that made the Dayvan Mini theme, also named after a Boards of Canada track.)

My main aim was that this theme be impressive typographically, and I think I’ve managed that. Outside of that, I just wanted it to be pretty! I also wanted to use some of Tumblr’s new features — as you’ll see, I used the new follower variables to output a list of people you’re following on the right. There are a few other bits that I’ll let you discover yourself.

There are likely to be a few bugs and discrepancies in the theme, so if you find any, please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at richard at dunlop-walters dot net.
