Just been playing with the new Joost beta, it’s really fast which was suprising because my MacBook hasn’t got great graphical power. The interface is very smooth which is great considering it’s still a beta (product)

Joost is a game changer because:

- It’s a hybrid of on-demand and tradtional TV. It follows the same SKy/EPG/channels paradigm which is easy to understand but you can still watch what you want.

- It has widgets, so I can chat while whatching the same program inside Joost.

- It’s probably going to spawn a Joost TV box, which for a reasonable price I’d put next to a telly.

- Combinging the last two reasons, I can now chat to people about TV while watching it via a wireless keyboard.

- Can clone what Vuse is doing, and because there going to get more users they can attach a download-to-keep store type thing and totally ruin Vuse + BitTorrent.com

Oh and it works with my Apple Remote, what’s not to love about that?
