being in austin makes me think about the ‘scence’ we’ve got in birmingham, we have interesting social media people, decent agencies and plenty of intelligent people making and hacking stuff ,but it’s not really enough.

It’s still the same people that go to these things though, people who are on network and involved with the scene. That’s not a criticism of them, just a realisation of the new problem, we’ve got to get more people involved, reach those that arn’t on twitter, get more interesting people involved. wxwm showed me that it’s growing but it’s not enough, there’s got to be more people out that are into this stuff, so we can truly create a vibrant community that build something awsome
